Busy year ending

Been a busy year and soon ending.  Last year we started teaching TDI tech courses as well as SDI recreational courses.  So this year we have been busy both teaching recreational and technical diving.  We have just landed a dealership with Nanight lights from Sweden that has a good reputation as dive lights.  They produce video lights, canister lights and standart dive lights that we can offer now in a good price here in Iceland.  This fits well into the current dive gear that we sell from Dive Rite and Xdeep.

Decompression theory article after Richard Devanney was went on the SDI scandinavia blog in Icelandic.  The article goes over the basics in decompression theory in laymans terms.  Special thanks to Vilhelm Steinsen with the help of translating and proof reading the article.

Name change of the company

Icedive.is is owned by Sport- og Tækniköfunarskóli Íslands ehf( Recreational- and Technical Dive School of Iceland).  But for many years the company was called Köfunarútgerðin ehf but to better reflect the propose of the company and its day to day operation it was decided to change its name to what is now used.
