How a tour day works

Morning

Pickup

We pick you up at your hotel in the capital area, at a time we agree when you book.

At the site

Dive

A briefing, help with your equipment and a guided dive. Silfra takes about half a day, and two-dive tours up to 8 hours.

Afterwards

Back to your hotel

We drive you back and drop you off. Pickup outside the capital area can be arranged, depending on the distance.

At the ocean sites conditions decide a lot, and when the sea is rough the brackish fissure Bjarnagjá is often our go-to dive. Diving is always subject to conditions: if we have to cancel because of the weather, we rebook you when possible, and otherwise refund you.

What is included

  • All dive equipment, including a dry suit, BCD, regulator, cylinders, weights, hood, gloves, mask and fins
  • Air fills
  • A dive briefing and help preparing your equipment
  • An experienced local dive guide
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off in the capital area
  • Transportation to and from the dive sites
  • The Þingvellir National Park fee for Silfra dives

Who can join

  • Open Water certification or equivalent
  • Dry suit certification, or at least 10 logged dry suit dives confirmed by an instructor

What divers say

5.0 on Google from 12 reviews · Read the reviews

“We did the classic Silfra and Davíðsgjá fissure dives in one day. The operation is run by very skilled and local sdi/tdi instructors from Iceland.”

David S. · Google, July 2026

“Both dives were excellent, and completely different from any other dive site I've seen! Highly recommend the private tour or smaller groups, beats being in a big group and eating someone else's fins all day!”

Clint S. · Google, 2023

“Amazing Tour. Very relaxed. Siggi does an amazing job to get you to dive site, equip you with proper gear … and also makes amazing pictures on the dive. Totally pro!”

Stefan G. · Google, 2023
